New Brunswick is a beautiful oceanside province, nestled between the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Northumberland Strait in the east, and the Bay of Fundy and Chignecto Bay in the south. The province's neighbors are Quebec in the north and Nova Scotia in the south.

A lot of New Brunswick is heavily wooded with many meadows and marshes.   You'll find White Spruce, Balsam Fire, and White Pine.  In the north White Birch and Black Spruce predominate.

There are over 100 species of birds and perhaps as many as 30 mammals that have been observed.  In the avian category this includes Grouse, Goshawks, Grosbeaks and Woodpeckers. Mammals include Fisher, Martens, Porcupine, Moose, White Tails, Black Bear and the rarely sighted elusive Lynx.

Every good hunter knows that the most memorable adventures have as much to do with habitat as they do with the catch.  New Brunswick is renowned for having the best of both!  Trophy white-tailed deer, black bears and waterfowl.  You will find this and more in the sprawling forests, secluded marshes and coastal woods of New Brunswick!

New Brunswick’s white-tailed deer is a prize take and there are plenty of them!  Take your rifle or your bow and take home a trophy rack!  The average dressed weight of an adult buck exceeds 175 pounds (80 kilograms), with bucks recorded each year as high as 270 pounds (122 kilograms).
