Description
This territory has lots of bang for the buck! Located between Vanderhoof and Fort St. James, on the eastern side taking in sections of the Stuart River and Great Beaver Lake to the north. This area has super habitat for moose and elk, with high stable populations of moose and an increasing population of elk. The area also boasts some great Mule Deer.
The terrain is mixed with good access to much of the best hunted areas. Habitat ranges from lowland agricultural land, moose meadows, lakes and rivers, aspen, spruce, pine, fir stands and burns to mountainous terrain. The territory can be completely utilized and has a park use permit in place for commercial activities within Stuart River Park including hunting.
Hunting methods include; vehicle, 4 wheeler, horse and the use of boats on many available lakes and waterways.
There is a cabin camp on Margaret Lake set up to accommodate 6 people.
It’s not often you’ll find a territory that is easily accessed from a main airport (Prince George one hour away) with good moose, excellent elk, Mule Deer, a grizzly quota and all the rest, for this price.
